Beading & Me
My name is Laura, I'm 22 years old and live in the North-West of England.
I began beading at the start of 2008. I enjoy many types of crafts but beading is definitely my favourite, especially creating the beaded charms.
The charms are made from tiny glass seed beads (a selection of silver-lined, opaque and transparent beads), using Japanese & European beading techniques.
I first came across the Japanese technique after visiting a website (see below) dedicated to 3D beading, which had several free patterns available to try. After this I was hooked! I used the site to learn how to 3D bead and also began using Japanese Beading Pattern books to make a whole selection of beaded charms. I then started selling them to family & friends and now I'm starting out online!
